1. Introduction
Creeper OS is a unified retail operating system created by BlastOut Solutions. It is designed to help modern retailers run billing, inventory, procurement, customers, suppliers, sales, reporting and multi-store operations from one connected system.
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with Creeper OS, including our marketing website, web application, mobile application, desktop application and related support or onboarding services.
People this policy may apply to
Website visitors
People who browse the Creeper OS website without creating an account.
Account users
People who register for, sign in to, or administer a Creeper OS account.
Business customers / merchants
Retail businesses that subscribe to or otherwise use Creeper OS to operate their stores. Creeper OS supports jewellery, textile, grocery, pharmacy, home appliances, general retail, service-plus-product businesses and other small and medium-sized retailers.
Staff users
Employees, cashiers, store managers, accountants and other team members invited into a merchant’s Creeper OS workspace.
End customers of a merchant
People whose details a retailer may enter into Creeper OS in the course of its own business, such as walk-in customers, loyalty members or billed parties. That information is typically collected by the retailer, not by BlastOut Solutions acting as the retailer.
This policy is intended to explain our practices in clear language. It is not legal advice. If a written agreement with a business customer contains specific privacy or data-processing terms, those terms apply in addition to this policy to the extent they are consistent with applicable law.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Creeper OS, we may collect or receive the categories of information described below. We do not necessarily collect every item in every case.
Account information
When you request a demo, start a trial, create an account or contact us, we may collect name, email address, phone number, login credentials or authentication identifiers, role, and basic business details such as store name, location count or retail category.
Business and operational information
Merchants may enter store and branch details, business configuration, product and SKU catalogues, supplier records, inventory levels, procurement activity, user permissions and similar operational records needed to run retail on the platform.
Transaction and business records
Depending on the modules a merchant uses, Creeper OS may store sales records, billing information, purchase records, customer records created by the merchant, inventory movements, payment or transaction records captured in the system, reports and other operational history.
Technical information
We may collect IP address, browser or device type, operating system, application version, diagnostic logs, crash or error reports, timestamps and usage information that helps us operate, secure and improve the service. Desktop and mobile applications may also report version and environment details needed for updates and support.
Communication information
If you contact us for support, a demo, pricing, implementation help or feedback, we may keep the information you provide in that conversation, including messages sent by email, phone, WhatsApp or our website form.
We do not ask you to provide government identifiers, GST numbers or other registration numbers unless a particular onboarding or billing process requires them, and we do not collect those identifiers through this marketing website as a matter of course.
3. How We Use Information
We use information for legitimate business purposes connected with providing Creeper OS, including:
- Creating, authenticating and managing accounts and user access.
- Providing POS billing, inventory, procurement, customer, supplier, reporting and related platform functions requested by the merchant.
- Maintaining, troubleshooting and improving product functionality, reliability and performance.
- Providing customer support, onboarding assistance and service-related communication.
- Detecting, investigating and helping prevent security incidents, abuse and fraud.
- Understanding how the product is used, in aggregate or diagnostic form, so we can improve Creeper OS.
- Meeting legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations that apply to us.
- Sending marketing communications where permitted and where you have not opted out.
Service communications and marketing
Service communications are messages needed to operate the account: security alerts, billing or subscription notices, product changes that affect use of the service, and responses to support requests. We may send these even if you have asked not to receive marketing.
Marketing communications are optional messages about Creeper OS features, demos, events or offers. Where required by applicable law, we will send marketing only with a lawful basis, and you may opt out using the contact details in this policy or any unsubscribe method included in the message.
4. Retailer-Controlled Customer Data
Retailers often record information about their own customers inside Creeper OS — for example names, phone numbers, bills, loyalty history or service records. The retailer decides what to collect, how to collect it, and how to use it in connection with its shop or chain.
We process retailer-controlled customer data to host, display, backup and otherwise provide the Creeper OS services the merchant has requested. We do not use that information to market Creeper OS to a merchant’s end customers, and we do not sell it for advertising purposes.
If you are an end customer of a retailer that uses Creeper OS and you want to access, correct or delete information that retailer stored about you, please contact the retailer first. We can support the retailer in responding where the request is valid and technically feasible.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. That may include providing the service, keeping business records, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, maintaining security and supporting legitimate operational needs.
Retention periods can vary by data type, account status and legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, we take steps designed to delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies a person, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Merchant business records stored in Creeper OS generally remain available while the relevant account is active, and may be retained or deleted after the account ends according to the applicable service terms, this policy and applicable law.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Those measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption where applicable, protected infrastructure, monitoring or logging where applicable, backup and recovery practices, and internal restrictions on who can access customer environments.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot promise that unauthorized access, hardware failure, software issues or other events will never occur. Please use strong credentials, limit staff permissions to what each role needs, and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
For a product-facing overview of how we approach platform security, see our Security & Trust page.
9. Data Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights relating to their personal information. Those rights can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent, and the ability to raise a grievance or complaint with us or with a competent authority.
Not every right applies in every situation or jurisdiction. We will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify identity before acting.
To make a request, contact BlastOut Solutions using the details in the Contact Us section. If you are a staff user of a merchant account, some requests may need to be handled through that merchant’s administrator. If you are an end customer of a retailer, please contact the retailer regarding information that retailer stored in Creeper OS.
10. Children's Privacy
Creeper OS is intended for businesses and their authorised staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of offering Creeper OS to them.
A retailer might enter information about a minor only where that is a necessary and lawful part of the retailer’s own customer relationship. In that case, the retailer is responsible for collecting and using that information in accordance with applicable law. If we learn that we have collected a child’s information in a way that is not appropriate, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or work with the relevant merchant to address it.
11. International Data Processing
Creeper OS is offered by a company based in Tamil Nadu, India. Information may be processed or stored in locations where Creeper OS or its service providers operate. Those locations can change as infrastructure and vendors change.
Where information is processed outside your state or country, we take steps designed to handle it in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable law. We do not make a fixed claim about a single data-residency location in this policy.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Creeper OS, our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the last-updated date on this page. If a change is material, we may provide an additional notice through the service, by email, or by another reasonable method.
Please review this page periodically so you stay informed about how we handle information.
